About us and what we do
Dundonald Community Council (DCC) is a voluntary body made up of local residents, that give up their time, free of charge, in order to act as representatives for the village of Dundonald, South Ayrshire in Scotland.
Dundonald Community Council (DCC) present the views of other residents from the village, collect concerns and opinions through the public forum section of the DCC regular meetings, as well as from direct approaches from individuals, groups, and businesses within the village.
DCC works on behalf of the community, and makes representations in order to support community aspirations, expectations and needs and liaises with organisations such as South Ayrshire Council, Police Scotland and NHS Ayrshire & Arran, together with a variety of other organisations that may be able to support and enhance the quality of Dundonald community life.
DCC holds regular meetings throughout the year and actively encourages members of the public or other community organisations to attend and share their views, raise issues, advise of concerns and generally participate in support of the wider community.
So...... please come along to the meetings. If, however, you are unable to do so, we still want to hear from you. Simply contact a member of DCC who will put forward your point for you.
